About the Anya Schmidt Scholarship Fund
Established in 2025, the Anya Schmidt Scholarship Fund is a generous grant gifted to RAYVA by Anya Schmidt in recognition of her achievement as the 2024 Gatorade Player of the Year. This fund was created to ensure that all families have the opportunity to participate in RAYVA youth volleyball, especially those who may face financial barriers.
The fund reflects Anya’s commitment to making volleyball accessible and inclusive, and it serves as a meaningful legacy of her dedication to the sport of volleyball and the Rogers community.
Who is Eligible to Receive Assistance?
Financial assistance is available to qualifying applicants who play in YDT or JO through RAYVA. The maximum scholarship per player is 25% for YDT and 50% for JO.
How Do I Apply?
- Submit application form prior to the January 15th deadline.
- Names/addresses will be removed for anonymity prior to being discussed at the next RAYVA board meeting for approval or denial.
- Funds will be automatically credited toward the selected families’ account.
